Director of Library Services & Orlando Campus Librarian, Adam Brody, MLIS, MSLBE
Adam began his library journey almost 20 years ago at a public library in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in various library support capacities. Since then, he went on to manage multiple academic libraries in the state of Florida. Adam adheres to the philosophy of “Doing everything possible in order to help instructors change lives through reference and programming expertise.” This philosophy continuously serves the students and faculty at Everglades University well.
Adam holds a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master’s Degree in Leadership and Business Ethics from Duquesne University, and a Bachelors Degree in Education from Duquesne University.

Tampa Campus Librarian, Cathy White, MLIS
Cathy began her library career over twenty years ago in Florida as a school library media specialist and has traveled around the globe, returning home to join Everglades University in Tampa as its first librarian. During her eleven years abroad, she worked in Saudi Arabia as a school librarian, a corporate librarian and was founder of the Harbor Community Library at the new King Abdullah University of Science and Technology. At the heart of all of these different types of libraries, is her passion to serve others making information accessible to all.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois.

Sarasota Campus Librarian, Marianne Hoeppner, MLIS
Becoming a librarian was a career change for Marianne, and she has worked in all forms of librarianship, including corporate, public and academic. She was the library director for the Bryant & Stratton College Albany campus for almost 7 years which allowed her to assist students grow in skills and confidence, while watching their dreams of graduating come true. Her undergraduate degree is in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College and she earned a Masters of Library Science from Long Island University. Recently, she moved back to Florida from upstate New York.
