AINonline – This website provides a monthly, online trade publication, International Aviation News, featuring news, articles, special reports, aircraft evaluations and surveys on business, commercial and regional aviation worldwide.
Airport Business – This website targets professionals with articles, case studies, expert analysis, industry news and product information on managing airports, airport-based businesses, and corporate flight facilities in North America.
Aviation Week – You can access articles on Aviation business, defense, commercial flight and more; you might need to register to access some of the articles but registration is free!
Florida Aviation Business Association – Check out the free articles in the digital archives of this online trade publication, that has been serving the aviation community since 1946 with up to date news articles.
SpaceNews.com – News about aviation politics, business and space travel with videos, images, and information for pilots, other employees in the aviation field, and people with an interest in aviation.
U.S. Centennial of Flight – This website contains free educational resources covering the history of flight, provided by the American Aviation Historical Society with links to supplemental information.
Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum – Check out the Collections and Research tabs.
Zeno’s Warbirds – Here you can check out free World War II fighter and bomber videos, as well as information on free admission to Zeno’s Warbird Video Drive-In.
Environmental Protection Agency – The EPA plays an active roll in airport development as well as regulating airplane emissions. Have a look at the Laws & Regulations page, or search for “aviation” for more information.
Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) – “The largest, most influential aviation association in the world.” Explore this website for up to date news articles and search for your home state to find local information.
Airport Cooperative Research Program – On this website you can explore free Transportation Research Board (of the National Academies of Sciences) publications!
American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics – The website for this leading aerospace publisher provides industry news, and resources for students and educators.
AV Web – Register for a free e-newsletter subscription to get updates on what’s happening in the aviation fields.
Aviation Reference Desk – Extensive database takes obscure FAA codes and acronyms and translates them to everyday language.
GAO (Government Accountability Office) – The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) is an independent, nonpartisan agency that works for Congress. Often called the “congressional watchdog,” GAO investigates how the federal government spends taxpayer dollars. The link provided goes to the GAO’s reports and testimonies page with topics listed in categories, though you can search by keyword or government agency also. Topics cover all areas of government spending such as health care, energy, business regulation, transportation, space, homeland security, and much, much more.
FlightAware – Have a look at this live flight tracker and you’ll see just how much air traffic is in the sky at this very minute. Browse by airport, airline, and aircraft.
Thirty Thousand Feet – This aviation directory offers thousands of links to aviation web pages, aviation news, and other sources of commercial, military, and general aviation information, including blogs, online podcasts and forums.
United States Airports – Find comprehensive data about every airport in the U.S. This data includes instrument approach procedures in downloadable files.

AirSafe.com – This site profiles airline accidents, safety issues, and other topics related to flying and passenger services.
AOPA Online – The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association’s website for flight planning, aircraft ownership, and training & safety resources. Includes searchable archive of all AOPA publications and an online gallery.
Electronic Code of Federal Regulations – Check out this editorial compilation that includes Federal Register amendments, updated on a daily basis.
Federal Aviation Administration – The FAA’s website offers links to jobs, a searchable database, news, statistics, regulations, airports and airplane information, and much much more!
National Air Traffic Controllers Association – Check out the tabs at the top that link to news, press releases and legislative issues.
National Transportation Safety Board – Check out the aviation database under the investigations tab and find accurate data on accidents, safety alerts, statistics and more.
Transportation Security Administration – Have a look at the transportation safety timeline; under media you will find the latest news articles and under travel the latest security screening measures, and much more!
NASA –Have a look at everything aeronautical and space related at the official NASA website.
Airline Data and Statistics – A comprehensive source providing all sorts of aviation statistics from the United States Department of Transportation.
Bureau of Transportation Statistics – This website offers a wealth of information ranging from air traffic statistics, causes for delays, employment statistics, fuel costs, consumption information, and more from the United States Department of Transportation.

Airman Knowledge Test Guides –This FAA website provides PDFs of a variety of test guides.
