Welcome back for the Fall semester! Did you know that you have the ability to send questions to the EU library via Instant Message and Text Messaging? This is possible through the EU libraries’ participation in the Ask a Librarian virtual reference program.
During the hours of 1:30 pm to 9 pm Eastern Standard Time on Mon/Wed/Fri, and 8:30 am to 5 pm EST on Tues/Thurs, an EU librarian will be available on the Ask a Librarian desk for Everglades. IM questions, texts, or emails you send will go to our virtual desk, from which we can type in responses from our computers, which will then get sent back to you, readable on your computer or mobile device. If we’re temporarily unavailable or off the desk, the questions will be saved for the next time we log on.

To reach the Ask a Librarian page for Everglades, log in to the EU library website at www.evergladeslibrary.com, and enter your username and password in the top-right corner. The link for Ask a Librarian will be on the main library page, in the middle column in the big blue box.
