Students, did you know that in addition to checking out books from your campus library and ordering books from other campuses, you can read over 70,000 e-books on ebrary, one of our library databases? E-books are just regular books that have appeared in print, but can also be read in electronic format on your computer! There are so many great resources here that will be totally relevant for your topics.
In order to publicize ebrary, we are compiling lists of e-books according to your academic programs. Here’s how this works: First, open up the library website, and log in with your Username (Student ID #) and Password (Last 4 of your SSN). Then, under the E-books heading, you’ll see ebrary. You can then search through the entire collection, and you’ll also be able to explore some of the cool advanced searching features offered by ebrary. (Click here to see a 5-minute video that gives a brief overview).
Below is a sample list of e-books that we recommend to our Aviation Tech and Management students. This is only a small sample of the Aviation books we offer in ebrary, however. At our libraries, we have handouts with the full list, so ask your librarian if you’re interested in that. Let us know if you have any more questions about this awesome database!
(You can click on the headings below and go right down to each sample section, or you can just scroll down and browse through the sections).
